Mimoza Meholli, M.D., serves as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine (Hospital Medicine) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
She is a graduate of Jacobi Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program where she also served as a Chief Resident. Mimoza went on to serve as Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi from 2012 to 2018.
Although she practices in the USA, Mimoza shared, “training in international health has definitely helped me be prepared for providing care to such a diverse and underserved population in the Bronx for more than 10 years now.”
Her special interests include Medical Education, Cross-Cultural Medicine, Narrative Medicine, Palliative Care and Bioethics.
Dr. Meholli received a doctorate in medicine from MSIH in 2006.
