MSIH Alumna Appointed Assistant Dean at Einstein College of Medicine

MSIH alumna Dr. Mimoza Meholli has just been appointed Assistant Dean of students at New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Mimoza, who graduated from MSIH in 2005, was a member of the 4th intake of students at MSIH.

After completing her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, Dr. Meholli served as a teaching hospitalist, palliative care attending and ethics consultant at Jacobi. She was also site leader for medical students rotating at Jacobi.

“It gives us great satisfaction to watch our graduates as they progress in their careers,” said Prof. Mark Clarfield, Director of MSIH. “Mimoza is warmly remembered at the school for her pleasant disposition, intelligence, and warmth and we couldn’t think of someone more appropriate to serve as an assistant dean of students.”

An article about her appointment is available at this link.
