Dr. Falyne Shapiro (nee Easly) graduated MSIH in 2009. After residency in Internal Medicine at Wilmington, North Carolina she came back to Israel with her husband in 2014.
Now a Critical Care Fellow at Assaf Ha-Rofeh hospital in Central Israel, Falyne came back to MISH on February to lead the Surgery Clerkship Global Health day.
“It’s a really strange feeling,” said Falyne. “Only 10 years ago I was sitting in those 6th floor classrooms. Now I’m teaching to the next generation of MSIH students and it’s really exciting to give back and teach.”
