Dr. Jean Marc Weinstein

Dr. Jean Marc Weinstein completed medical rotations in London and Oxford prior to emigrating to Israel, where he completed board certification in Internal Medicine. He also attained board certification in Cardiology at Hadassah University Hospital, spending most of his last year there caring for heart failure and transplant patients. He now works at Soroka University Medical Center, the primary teaching hospital for MSIH. Dr. Weinstein works in invasive cardiology, heart failure and echocardiography, and is the Head of the Heart Failure service. He runs a Clalit Health Services community HF unit in Beer-Sheva. He is also the past chairman of the Israeli Working Group on Heart Failure. Dr. Weinstein is a lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, and he has coordinated and taught in the second year Cardiovascular System at MSIH since the school’s inception.
