MSIH Alumna, Dr. Ariela Orkaby’s unique research into statin use in the elderly described in the New York Times

Ariela Orkaby, a 2010 alumna of MSIH and currently faculty member at Harvard Medical School, is the lead author of a new study on statins in older adults. Her research is described in an article appearing in the New York Times on Jan 5th, 2018.

After graduating MSIH, Ariela did a residency in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center before completing a Master of Public Health Degree at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Since 2016 Ariela has been Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
