MSIH 4th Year Student Publishes His Story in “WorldView,” the Peace Corps Magazine

“I felt drawn to the thought of studying medicine overseas, in Israel, and on the campus at Ben-Gurion University at Soroka Hospital where the patients receive treatment for especially rare congenital and infectious diseases and speak such languages as Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and Amharic. Ben-Gurion accepted my application to study medicine. It all seemed like a Peace Corps dream.”

Fourth year student, Aaron Zimmerman, a graduate of the Peace Corps and former journalist, has published the story of his journey to medicine in WorldView Magazine, the global Peace Corps publication.

Aaron tips his hat to the education he’s receiving at MSIH.

Thanks, and great work, Aaron!
