Meet Dr. Odeya Cohen, MSIH Research Coordinator

MSIH students are encouraged to conduct research. A team is available to assist in planning, execution, analysis and publication of their research studies. Our research assistance team is led by Dr. Odeya Cohen, head of the master’s program in Ben-Gurion University’s Department of Emergency Medicine and a researcher in the PREPARED Center for Emergency Response Research.

Dr. Cohen lectures on scientific writing, research projects and bioethics in BGU’s departments of Nursing and Emergency Medicine. She participates in research projects both in Israel and worldwide on the subject of management characterized by resilience, assessment and measurement of community resilience to emergency situations, and the role of medical personnel in emergency situations.
