Dr. Carmi Margolis

Dr. Carmi Margolis, served in the US Army prior to moving to Beer Sheva, in 1975, where he joined the nascent Faculty of Health Sciences and served in several senior positions before becoming the founding Dean of MSIH. Retired in 2011, he continues to teach and practice pediatrics in hospital and community settings and is also heavily involved in two new projects, Bellagio Global Health Education Initiative (BGHEI), begun at Bellagio in 2015, and teaching the practice, as opposed to the theory, of medical education using stories about difficult educational situations.
